meditation…

Do you have a DAILY meditation practice?

I do. I love it. It’s so good for my anxious mind to slow down, be present and release tension in my body and mind.

Here’s mine…

  1. 5 minute morning timed silent meditation used mostly for prayer and reflection, slowing down
  2. 10 minute morning timed guided meditation on various subjects/topics or ideas
  3. 5-10 minutes afternoon reflection meditation usually timed and silent, slowing down

App used: calm.com

I buy a subscription to the service on my iPhone. This is an excellent app. Well worth the subscription per year. They update the app with new things all the time.

What’s your meditation practice look like? How is it going?

why meditation…

Inspired by: Christine Hassler’s post, click here. Are you struggling to meditate? Click here to learn how to get over the hump of beginning mediation. See her video vlog below too, regarding this subject.

Why I meditate…

  1. to center myself
  2. to balance myself
  3. to connect with spirit
  4. to connect to my intuition
  5. to get calm
  6. to get quiet
  7. to focus
  8. align myself
  9. reduce anxiety
  10. breath deeper
  11. to empower myself
  12. to reduce stress

Even if I only meditate for 5 minutes a day, it’s super wonderful helpful. I also love a good guided meditation. I love to use my calm.com app on my iPhone. It gives me so many meditation choices to choose from. Yes, I love the paid version, well worth it.

tips for meditation…

Do you meditate? I myself have been meditating for over 2 years now. Daily. Usually for only 5-15 minutes. But that 5 minutes is enough for me to center, calm, relax, breath, and listen. I sometimes use a guided meditation. When I started out this helped me greatly, using guided meditations. After awhile I got the hang of it on my own.
