Are you drinking enough water on a daily basis?

I drink 100oz a day if not more.

I love my new retap glass water bottle. I don’t care for stainless steel bottles due to taste issues. I don’t like plastic BPA free bottles either cause they too can have taste issues. I prefer a glass bottle I can refill all day long.

14 week road to wellness…

I am currently on the road to wellness for 14+ weeks. I am 4 weeks into my journey. This journey for a lifetime of wellness is designed by my health and wellness coach Connie Trowbridge. @connieville.com

You see I have struggled lately with inflammation, bad gut health, low energy, joint pain, brain fog, overweight, overeating, cravings, uncontrollable eating habits, eating too much, and general feeling bad all day long. I have struggled with my weight all my life but I am at that age where I MUST do something or things will not improve without medical science getting involved I am sure. I do not want that. No, I want to live my life in a healthy way. I want energy, vibrancy and good health. Who doesn’t want that?

This helps balance hormones, repair gut health, give me energy, and lose weight. This is NO fad diet. Your thoughts; your feelings…

Your thoughts create your feelings. Powerful stuff there. But so true. We can all relate. When you think about something sad, it truly elicits sad feelings along with it. Sometimes we even cry. I know I do. When I think about my mom who has severe dementia, I cry. She’s my hero in so many ways but to see her situation now, I cry. Simple thoughts can create powerful feelings.

Keep a conscious eye on your thoughts and then feelings they bring with them. With this you’ll learn to bring your mind back to a better place and in turn you’ll feel better too. Awesome.

Managing your inner critic…

51GBOYhuKkL._SX322_BO1,204,203,200_I was recently reading 52 Ways to Live a Kick-Ass Life: BS-Free Wisdom to Ignite Your Inner Badass and Live the Life You Deserve by Andrea Owen. Awesome book I highly recommend this read. On page 95 of Chapter 21 she addresses “Managing your inner critic.” That total bitch voice that tells you all the things you can’t do, be, wear, see, hear, etc. As Andrea says she believes these voices are addicted to suffering. Keeping you small and in fear of the wonderful life you are really suppose to live. How awful BUT true. Mine keeps me in fear each day, undermining my confidence and just plain holds me back. WTF?
