I was recently reading 52 Ways to Live a Kick-Ass Life: BS-Free Wisdom to Ignite Your Inner Badass and Live the Life You Deserve by Andrea Owen. Awesome book I highly recommend this read. On page 95 of Chapter 21 she addresses “Managing your inner critic.” That total bitch voice that tells you all the things you can’t do, be, wear, see, hear, etc. As Andrea says she believes these voices are addicted to suffering. Keeping you small and in fear of the wonderful life you are really suppose to live. How awful BUT true. Mine keeps me in fear each day, undermining my confidence and just plain holds me back. WTF?
