The art of essential oil diffusing is my favorite thing for my home environment.
I pick up new and fun blends wherever I can. I am always excited to try new things. BUT not all new ones are favorites. You do have to try and see approach.
I’ve shopped for high end oils and lesser grade. Since I only use them to diffuse into my environment, I usually go with a lesser grade less expensive oil blend. I do enjoy some single notes, lemon, lavender, and peppermint. Actually blending all three of them together makes a wonderful uplifting smell.
My favorites are:

I just finished reading Better Thank Before by Gretchen Rubin. I wanted to post a little review of it for you here on the blog.
We all hit bumps in the road BUT, how do you handle them?
I like to call life’s hardships, bumps in the road. I am not one to think all things are bad for us. Things happen for a reason. The universe does not put things in your way for the fun of it. No, it’s there to teach us something. What can you learn from your bumps?
Instead of crying over spilled milk or worse, why not say a prayer of gratitude and ask the universe to show you the way to the other side. The sunny side. Trust me there is one. You will get through this, maybe not in the timeframe you wish, like quickly, maybe it will take some months to get over it but what lessons are you really learning from the experience? When I learn I feel so much better. When I surrender my darkest hours to universe, I am shown the light. I am not saying it is going to be easy but you will get through this. Prayer really helps.
What lesson are you learning right now? Comment below.
Wise words from a wise woman. If you not already reading Lara Casey’s blog, get over there now.
I love it, growing slow. It truly is the only way for me. I am not a BIG BOLD kinda gal. Nope, slow and steady for me. I actually is someone who puts a lot of thought behind what I do in life. Each day actually, I take my time and take a break and think before I act. Even with food, I wonder around the kitchen in search of lunch, and sometimes I step away to think about, what do I really want? Do you do this?
Below are some areas of my life I am growing slow at…
- health – day by day I take getting healthy slowly, learning new things, making good choices, improving my habits little by little
- exercise – day by day I make movement more a priority
- meditation – I increase my meditation time little by little, I am up to about 15 minutes now, started at 5 minutes, that’s progress little by little
- reading – day by day I read more, I read a different book, I get in a few more pages than the day before, little by little
- the universe – each day I connect a little more with the sacred universal love
Where are you growing slow, little by little? Let me know in the comments.
