We all have a choice, to choose love over the fear in our lives. The kind of fear that keeps you from doing big bold things in your life. Or for some, even small mundane things. It doesn’t really matter, fear is fear. Fear keeps us from living life to our fullest potential. Keeps us small. Keeps us down.
How does fear keep you small?
Little story time, my fear is BIG. It keeps me small and down. It keeps me from living a great life. Things like leaving my home can be difficult for me, BUT everyday I work my love muscle and choose moment to moment to choose love over fear. It’s not easy and sometimes my fear wins but I am getting better at it. Each day I grow more bold, each day I choose love over fear, and choose to step outside my comfort zone. My comfort zone where I defaultly live, that place that keeps me safe but I don’t grow. I want to grow. I want to experience more in life.
How is fear keeping you in your comfort zone each day, each moment?
Your reactions, your judgements about yourself and others keep you in fear state too. How can you choose love? Stop judging yourself so harshly. Cut yourself some slack. You are born of love and you can return to love. Return to love in each moment of each day. The ego mind of fear will always try to bring you back down but don’t let it, choose love state. Decided today your going to give and receive so much love there is no room for fear.

A new view.
A new routine.
A step outside my comfort zone. Which means doing something I normally would never do. Leave my home. I work from home all day, I need sometime away from home too. Away from my comfort zone. Get inspiration, converse with others, be around other people and take in the sunrise.
A new routine for me, 4-5 days a week, meet me at Starbucks. Taking some time for myself every work day to start my day off right. Take sometime to really enjoy my coffee, and write for the blog. Use my bujo and brain dump. Write out my thoughts for the day. Take it slow and enjoy is the theme. The theme to start my day off right.

To be spiritual, and what that means to me.
I am a spiritual being, I was born this way. But along the way in my life I have lost my sense of what that means to me. Reconnecting with your self is important and connection to a higher power even more important. I always connect into my body first then send out into the universe a prayer for deeper connection to a higher power. I sit in silence and listen for any messages I might get. I find the messages will come to me in for form of my own voice. God speaks through us and to us in our own voice I find. Do you?
After prayer and silence I always write out any messages I may have received. I write out my feelings. I write out the way the session of prayer went. It helps me remember those important messages. I write an action plan too if the messages are of that nature. I incorporate new messages into my daily routine. Into my life. I honor that higher power by taking action.
I speak of God as a higher power, because we all our spiritual beings on our own path in life. You may prayer to a different god but you may find we are all the same at the end of the day. Love and light to you.

I do. I love it. It’s so good for my anxious mind to slow down, be present and release tension in my body and mind.
- 5 minute morning timed silent meditation used mostly for prayer and reflection, slowing down
- 10 minute morning timed guided meditation on various subjects/topics or ideas
- 5-10 minutes afternoon reflection meditation usually timed and silent, slowing down

I buy a subscription to the service on my iPhone. This is an excellent app. Well worth the subscription per year. They update the app with new things all the time.
What’s your meditation practice look like? How is it going?
It’s not just about wealth. It’s about a abundance of anything in our lives. Love, happiness, joy, problems, luck, sadness, etc. It’s about having too much of anything. We can have too much sadness, we can have too much joy. But nobody complains about too much joy in our lives do they? But sadness is another thing. Too much sadness leads to depression if you allow it to overtake all aspects of your life.
I prefer to be grateful and see all the goodness in my life. As I sat in meditation today after prayer I got the overwhelming sense of abundance. But definitely the good kind. Joy mostly. And gratitude for that joy in my life. For all the wonderful people in my life. For all the goodness life brings to me each day. This attitude of joy really helps me relieve a lot of stress I feel too. I am looking at my “problems” with joy today. Knowing in my heart of hearts I will find more joy out there than I do sadness. I will find happiness along the way. I want to look at life with rose colored glasses some might say. Is that so wrong, hell no! Try it, find the joy in your life and see if you can’t help but smile a little. Even in the darkest of night, hidden in the shadows we can find a little joy.
Take it from someone who is depressed I have chosen to look at life differently on a daily basis. Now mind you my ego and my logical mind get in the way. Too much trying to control and too much trying to be perfect. There is no control but that over which I choose to think and there is NO PERFECTION my friend. It doesn’t exist. There is a flaw in everything, how we choose to embrace those flaws and see life’s beauty is our own right. Choice is key. I’ll say it again, you have a choice in all you do. Choose wisely that which you choose to focus on.
My little story, I have been trying to control with my mind too much in my life. In meditation this morning, releasing that control felt so good. I give it up to spirit and choose to rely on spirit for guidance. Spirit will always guide me where I need to go, and gratitude for abundance in my life is what I am celebrating today. I have chosen to give up the control and embrace the joy. To focus on the joy, to focus on something else besides the control. Rule with my heart not my head. Get out of my head and into my heart. Connect to my highest good self. Connect to spirit. That’s joy to me.
