a long weekend…

I want to wish all my friends, family and readers a very safe, happy and fun Memorial Day weekend this year.

Take time on Monday to remember those who have served our country.

Eat well and enjoy the time you spend with family and friends.

Where ever you are I wish you a wonderful weekend.

Here is the USA we also consider this weekend as a gateway to the beginning of summer activities. A fun time is had by all. Most folks are off on Monday for Memorial Day holiday too.

Much love, Rebecca

Should I start a blog?…

That’s a question that only you can answer but follow along for some thoughtful questions below.

  • How do you want to communicate to other people? Is a blog an appropriate form of communication for you and your story or brand?
  • Do you have a story to tell?
  • Would you like to tell it via a blog?
  • Don’t think your going to make money, it’s very hard to do but instead think of blogging as a communication platform for yourself or your brand.
  • Do you enjoy sharing things?
  • Are you technically inclined to set-up your own website and blogging platform or would you rather use a hosted platform like square space and WordPress.com?
  • How would you style your blog? Mostly articles, mostly your photos, or both?
  • How often can you blog? Daily, Weekly? Whatever you choose be consistent!
  • What will you write about? What kind of content will you highlight in your blog?
  • Do you need a blog to help your business/brand?
  • Decided if it’s a personal site or a business site, not both. This site here is personal.
  • Do you even like writing? Even if it’s a lot or a little, what fits you best?

Ask yourself these questions and decide, is blogging right for me? Good luck and best wishes. Leave a comment below if you do have a blog, I’d love to stop over to read it.

play big…

Most all my life I played small, until I got some help to re-frame my life and my desires. I am still stepping into myself and my life but I don’t want to play small anymore. I intend to play big this year.

What it means to me to play big…

1. I don’t care what other people think of me. I like me just the way I am and I am enough.

2. I manifest what I want and feel these days. I feel into what I want, I focus on what I want and take action.

3. I take action. Simple but powerful. I don’t sit around wondering what it would feel like to do something, I get out there and do it.

4. I don’t try, I do. I do what needs to be done to be successful in my goals.

5. I plan big. But take small steps to get there.

6. I intend to always bring forth the best version of myself. I get help with my issues when I need it. I take responsibility for my life. I continually am improving myself and my life to a better version of me.

7. I know if it doesn’t turn out the way I want, that’s ok, I live and learn. Life is not always like we hoped for. I tend to go with the flow these days. What life brings me I am grateful for.

8. I express my gratitude for all in my life and those in my life. I show love to all. I express love to all. I am love.

9. I step into my power as a human female being. I know my strengths and work on my weaknesses.

10. I know I am worthy of it all and believe in myself.

Play big. Good luck. Comment below on how you like to play big in your life.

let your “Higher Self” be your guide…

nature-258152_1280This post was inspired by an article I read by the wonderful Temple Hayes. Click here to read the original post by her. Read on below to read my thoughts on the subject.

In each one of us there is a “higher self” guiding us always. It’s our connection to spirit(or whatever you call it). It is all knowing. It gives us freedom to make informed choices in our lives. The right choice for you. Only you can hear it. It’s always there and always has your best interest at heart. But are you tuned into it?

I find meditation the best way for me to tune into my higher self. Getting quiet and listening in, gives me the insight I need. Now it’s not always easy to hear your higher self through the chatter of life. But sit, breath, get quiet, and ask yourself some questions before you take that next step. You will find your higher self has something to say, like a simple “Yes” or “No”. Should I do this or not? I also find my higher self has some great ideas even my conscious mind didn’t think of. So tune in. You’ll be amazed at what comes up for you when you connect to spirit and higher self.

If your having trouble making decisions I highly suggest you read and listen to the podcast from Christine Hassler. She helps guide you to use your heart, soul, and head on making a decision and moving on with life. Click here.

Good luck my friend.

love is in the air…

It’s that time of year when we all are feeling the love. Even if it’s just the love of your favorite pet.

I wanted to remind you to love someone today. Just tell them how much they mean to you, no strings attached.

Even if your single this Valentine’s Day, I am sure you can find someone in your life to love.

So share the love! xoxo from me!
