planner planning 2018…

filofax_domino_blue

I have been thinking about what planners I am going to buy for 2018 with some new releases coming very soon. Like POWERSHEETS releases on October 25th, 2017. Inkwell Press new planners release coming real soon too. So exciting. What system of planning shall I choose?

I know I am interested again in the bound Powersheets from Cultivate What Matters.com.

I know I want the A5 inserts from Inkwell Press for my Filofax. On that note I am sincerely finally considering a Large kikki-k planner. Just don’t know what color to choose. So many beautiful choices. Gray or Black or Felt?? Hmmm…

moving forward when things change…

move forward

Do you ever find your best laid plans changing? I do, all the time. But I keep moving forward.

I recently thought I might go one way in life/career, then I find myself at the crossroads deciding which road to follow next. Important step in the right direction is to keep moving forward no matter what road you take. You can always adjust your GPS to another route/road if necessary.

I love making plans for short and long term, but I realize they are not fixed and I choose what my next move is. Life is ever changing in all directions, be flexible in your plans too. Know that one day the rain may call off a well planned outdoor picnic and turn it into a indoor movie day/picnic. Know you have choice to choose your next move. Don’t fret. I know it’s so easy to fall into the “why me”? thinking but know you have a choice to choose joy and happiness at every turn.

Sure, plan away. But be flexible. And release your expectations of how you think something is going to turn out. Letting go of expectations is paramount to a happy and joyous life.

Learn more about releasing expectations in this book here… Expectation Hangover by Christine Hassler

I no longer let myself get upset over the big plans and little plans I make in life, changing. I know it’s a fact of life and move with it. It’s a opportunity to make new plans and let go of expectations.

I wish you all the best.

Inkwell Press A5 2017 Inserts…

This year I choose the A5 inserts from Inkwell Press. They fit great in my blue domino Filofax.

I actually use these inserts to track activities I do each day, kinda of like a diary. I love the heavyweight paper, gold monthly tabs, and overall wonderful quality of this planner.

it’s ok to grow slow…

Wise words from a wise woman. If you not already reading Lara Casey’s blog, get over there now.

I love it, growing slow. It truly is the only way for me. I am not a BIG BOLD kinda gal. Nope, slow and steady for me. I actually is someone who puts a lot of thought behind what I do in life. Each day actually, I take my time and take a break and think before I act. Even with food, I wonder around the kitchen in search of lunch, and sometimes I step away to think about, what do I really want? Do you do this?

Below are some areas of my life I am growing slow at…

  1. health – day by day I take getting healthy slowly, learning new things, making good choices, improving my habits little by little
  2. exercise – day by day I make movement more a priority
  3. meditation – I increase my meditation time little by little, I am up to about 15 minutes now, started at 5 minutes, that’s progress little by little
  4. reading – day by day I read more, I read a different book, I get in a few more pages than the day before, little by little
  5. the universe – each day I connect a little more with the sacred universal love

Where are you growing slow, little by little? Let me know in the comments.
